Barb O is a twenty year resident of DuPage County. She is a Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner, with thirty years experience in public health in northern Illinois. She has a Master's Degree in Public Health and has taught Environmental Biology and Biology at Waubonsee Community College for twelve years. In her career, Barb has served on many boards and commissions related to public health issues. Barb is also a Trustee of the Naperville Library Board.
Barb O's goals are to:
* protect the existing properties, today and in the future;
* work to create land bridges and interconnecting trails;.
* develop habitats for songbird populations and honeybees;
* bring the forest preserve into the future with ArcGIS and interactive mapping;
*explore solar, wind, and electric energies;
* look 5, 10 and 20 years out to preserve and protect open spaces.
